NOW HIRING – VARIOUS POSITIONS: Teachers, Teacher Assistants, Managers, Bus Drivers and Family Services Counselors
Mile High Kids and Community Development, Inc. provides community based services to include preschool education, literacy support, employment assistance, homebuyer education, financial literacy and parent/family engagement that will prepare children and families for success.
Mile High Kids Community Development, Inc aims to fight learning loss and bolster kindergarten readiness through its Saturday Enrichment Program targeted to children aged 3 to first grade. Research shows that virtual learning has been hardest on the youngest students and many students start kindergarden or 1st grade very far behind. If these students start far behind and don’t develop basic foundational skills, it may be very difficult for them to access learning in the future. The purpose of the Saturday Enrichment Program is to foster children’s intellectual curiosity and a love of learning in a wide variety of fields and disciplines. Curriculum and instruction are designed to intellectually challenge and engage students in learning activities that focus on critical thinking, creative expressions and exploration.
Personal Development Workshops
Personal development consists of activities that develop a person’s capabilities and potential, build human capital, facilitate employability, and enhance quality of life and the realization of dreams and aspirations. These workshops will help to establish personal development goals and objectives to help improve your character, skills and capabilities. Setting these goals involves assessing yourself and identifying the areas in which you can improve to maximize your potential. These workshops are free and open to the public.
